Fujifilm X T10 Review

Lisa Gade reviews the Fujifilm X-T10 mirrorless ILC (interchangeable lens camera). This is a compact, high quality camera with Fuji's X-Trans CMOS II 16MP APS-C sensor with EXR processor II. The $799 Fuji X-T10 has the same imaging hardware and quality as the more expensive X-T1, with a slightly smaller and lighter body and no weather-proofing. The camera has a 3” LCD, a 3.26 million dot OLED EVF and full manual controls with a shutter speed dial, EV dial and drive mode dial (there’s no ISO dial unlike the XT-1). It can shoot 1080p video at 60fps in MOV format, and it shoots JPEG and RAW in photo mode. It also has an excellent auto mode and Fujifilm’s film simulations of Provia, Velvia, Astia and Chrome films. The X-T10 boasts a fast new auto-focus system with focus-tracking (49 point single point, 77 point for Zone and Wide Tracking modes). It has both PDAF and contrast focus detection. The camera has a built-in flash, WiFi and geotagging. We look it at with the 18-55mm f/2.8-4 optional kit zoom lens, 55-200mm lens and 35mm f/1.4 prime. We also compare with the Sony a6000 and Sony a7.

Asus ZenBook Pro UX501 Review

Lisa Gade reviews the Asus ZenBook Pro UX501, a slim and light 15.6” laptop for professionals and gamers alike. The UX501 has the ZenBook’s signature swirled aluminum lid and casing and it weighs 5 lbs. It’s also quite slim at 0.8” (21.3mm) and good looking, but the real attention grabbers here are what you get for $1,500: a 2.6GHz Intel quad core i7-4720HQ (4th gen) CPU, NVIDIA GTX 960M 2 GB GDDR5 dedicated graphics, a fast 512 gig PCIe x4 and 16 gigs of RAM. The laptop has a 4K touch screen with wide viewing angles, dual band Intel 7260 WiFi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 4.0, a backlit keyboard and a 1.2MP webcam. It has a 96 Whr battery. The notebook ships with a slip case, VGA and Ethernet adapters. It has a mini DisplayPort, 3 USB 3.0 ports, HDMI, 3.5mm audio and an SD card slot. We’ll have a separate gaming demo video.

Samsung Galaxy S6 Active Review

Lisa Gade reviews the Samsung Galaxy S6 Active on AT&T. This is the rugged version of the Galaxy S6, and it has a hard plastic outer shell rather than fragile glass. It’s rated MIL-STD-810G for water resistance down to 1.5 meters for up to 30 minutes, and it’s dust resistant. It’s also shock resistant up to a 4 foot drop onto a flat surface. The S6 Active has a higher capacity battery (3500 mAh vs. 2550) and it’s available with 32 gigs of storage (there are no higher storage variants). Otherwise the specs are the same as the Galaxy S6: 5.1” QHD display, 2.1 GHz octal-core Exynos, 16MP and front 5MP cameras, dual band WiFi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 4.0, NFC, GPS and wireless charging support built in. It sells for $695 full retail and $199 with a 2 year contract. It’s exclusive to AT&T in the US.

How to Color Calibrate Your Display

Lisa Gade shows you how to use a colorimeter to evaluate and color calibrate your laptop or desktop display. For those who don’t want to buy a colorimeter (a USB device that costs around $150), she also shows you how to use your graphics card’s calibration options and Windows built-in color calibration in the Display control panel. Why color calibrate your display? Beyond measuring brightness, contrast and color gamut, you’ll get a better looking picture that matches what the creator of the photo, video or website intended. Your color photo prints will match what you see on screen too. We use the Datacolor Spyder 4 Pro colorimeter with the Lenovo LaVie Z for this tutorial. X-Rite is the other popular colorimeter brand, and both do the job well.

近年來大家應該看到很多新聞關於，保姆欺負虐待爸媽或者小孩，老師打小孩，家寵被虐待。 大家因為這樣買一個iP Cam 監控器，可是道高一尺魔高一丈，現在只要拿出SD卡，什麼都沒有了，怎麼辦呢？ 上一次TechaLook評測的SpotCam雲端攝影機，而這次評測的是ASUS 智慧雲端攝影機 AiCam。AiCam內建麥克風、喇叭及紅外線LED燈，提供24小時全方位監控加上資料完全將記錄影像轉存至華碩WebStorage雲端空間，華碩的第一個IP Cam它到底值不值得推薦呢？ 外觀篇： 外觀非常簡單，像一個大眼睛外圈有一圈喇叭中間是鏡頭，內建麥克風，及二個紅外線LED燈，沒有什麼複雜東西，頂部一個電源鍵，後面Mirco USB插頭，底部還有散熱孔的。 華碩非常豪氣還附送嬰兒床夾和壁式托架大公司就是大氣。 使用心得篇： 到手開始安裝ASUS AiCam 過程非常快又簡單，只要按照說明書寫就可以了，只是安卓和iOS設定模式是有點不一樣說明書沒有寫，iPhone的比較難搞。 在我們測試錄影和Live的時候不管是白天還是夜間發現只有1秒剩至不到1秒Delay，並且還有動作偵測和聲響偵測。 在錄影模式還有一般影片或是縮時攝影選擇，時間長度可在 1 至 60 分鐘間調整，循環時間則是可控制在 0 至 240 分鐘。Live影片還可以馬上放大縮小。以第一次推出監視攝影機非常厲害，很多家第一次都做不到。華碩AiCam最大的賣點是 7天循環錄影雲端保存並且還是免費兩年，比DropCam還划算。 現在要說說一些我可能覺得華碩AiCam可以在加強地方，喇叭聲音不夠大聲可是以他體積有點難，如果可以加個音效孔有大大加分。由於 AiCAM app 會忽略手機系統的旋轉鎖定功能，在觀看時要留意不要轉動手機避免畫面一直旋轉。 總結Tommy會覺得華碩AiCam 非常值得推薦，安裝方便，價位便宜，還有二年免費7天循環錄影雲端保存，比DropCam等其他台灣廠家還便宜，非常高CP值。App Bug方面就不多寫因為在上一次韌體升級就解決了。 如果今天你需要一台攝影機應用於在小孩老人安全照護監控、甚至是記錄寵物點滴華碩 AiCAM是一個非常適合產品。

SONY 全新旗艦機Xperia Z3+和中價位手機M4 Aqua Dual

郭雪芙與陳柏霖兩位Sony Mobile代言人破天荒合體出場Xperia Z3+和Xperia M4 Aqual Dual 的上市記者會！
這兩台一萬元有找的手機都能做到防水防塵。
從前Sony只有旗艦機才有防水功能，現在中價機也有了。當然Xperia M4 Aqua Dual也接續了相機技術和OmniBalance 全平衡設計。於是在外觀上除了micro USB 插頭位置不同，很難看出它與Z系列有什麼不一樣。

Computex Tesoro RGB 電競鍵盤

美國電競周邊品牌鐵修羅 Tesoro，在今年 Computex推出了多款的電競機械鍵盤，首先有經典款 Durandal（鐵修羅杜蘭朵劍終極版），還有Tizona，Tizona的特色是特殊的打字鍵盤與數字鍵分離設計，並利用強力吸鐵把兩邊緊密的結合，兩者也具有各自獨立運作的機能性。Excalibur 最獨特的是它的全彩背光鍵盤，還可以切換成許多模式，而Lobera 則是Excalibur的進階版，擁有Excalibur的特色並配上USB插槽跟音源和麥克風接頭，還有音源模式，燈光能夠隨著音樂閃動。

Lisa Gade reviews the Dell Inspiron 13 7000 series model. We look at the Special Edition model, that adds a soft touch gray finish and an SSD to the standard Inspiron 13 line. The Inspiron is a 2-in-1 Windows 8.1 convertible that transforms from a traditional laptop to a tablet, and it also works in tent and presentation modes. Our $999 mode has a 2.4 GHz Intel Core i7-5500U 5th generation Broadwell ULV CPU, 8 gigs of RAM and a 256 gig SSD. The lowest priced $530 model has a Pentium CPU, 4 gigs of RAM and a 500 gig HDD, and there are Core i3 and Core i5 option too. Ours has a 13.3” full HD 1920 x 1080 IPS display that supports touch and the optional Dell Active Stylus using Synaptics technology. Lower end models have a 1366 x 768 IPS display. The laptop weighs 3.68 lbs. and it has dual band Intel 7265 WiFi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 4.0 and a backlit keyboard.

HP Pro Slate 12 Review

Lisa Gade reviews the HP Pro Slate 12, a 12.3” Android tablet that comes with the HP Duet Pen, an active pen with ultrasound for transmission so you can write directly on the tablet or on a pad of paper. And yes, it really works well! The tablet has a 1600 x 1200, 4:3 aspect ratio display and it runs Android 5.0.2 Lollipop on the 2.3 GHz quad core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 with Adreno 330 graphics. It has 2 gigs of RAM, 32 gigs of storage and a microSD card slot. The tablet weighs 1.87 lbs. and has front-facing stereo speakers with DTS audio, a 2MP front camera and rear 8MP camera. It has dual band WiFi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 4.0 LE and NFC. It sells for $550 and for those who want a smaller version, there’s the HP Pro Slate 8. HP also sells a dock, a folio cover with slot for a pad of paper and a keyboard for the Slate 12.
