BlackBerry Priv Review
Lisa Gade reviews the BlackBerry Priv, the company’s first Android smartphone. As you might expect from BlackBerry, the Priv has a slide-out hardware keyboard with embedded trackpad sensor and waterfall sculpted keys. The phone runs Android 5.1 Lollipop on the 1.8GHz Snapdragon 808 CPU with 3 gigs of RAM and 32 gigs of storage. It has a 5.4” QHD curved display, an 18MP rear camera, 2MP front camera, dual band WiFi 802.11ac, Bluetooth, NFC and a GPS. BlackBerry has customized the OS with security in mind, and the hardware design is attractive and unique. BlackBerry sells the phone unlocked for $699 and it’s also available on AT&T in the US, with Verizon coming.
